Ended up in ICU with my blood sugar around 400. Discharged with an A1C of 14. Weight 267#. Started taking Farxiga and using both quick acting and long acting insulin. I cleaned up my diet and eliminated all sugar and processed foods, with a focus on veggies and white meat chicken. Stopped drinking alcohol and limited drinks to coffee, unsweetened iced tea and water. 3 weeks after leaving the hospital I was prescribed Ozempic. Took .25 for 2 weeks, then .5 for 2 weeks, then 1mg for 3 weeks, and just started taking 2mg today. Only side affect I have had is mild constipation. 4 weeks into taking ozempic my A1C fell to 11.2… at this time I stopped using my quick acting insulin with meals. 3 weeks later my A1C came back at 5.7…. My weight is currently at 224#. To combat constipation I began consuming 2 cups of black coffee each day. Usually 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. I didn’t like it black initially so I would add ice to it to cool it down so I could chug it fast. Over time I’ve come to like black coffe and enjoy it hot now. I also eat 1-2 sugar free greek yogurts each day. I’ve been doing this for 6 weeks or so now and I have little or no constipation. Oh, I also have found that if I fail to eat I become constipated so I feel that making sure I eat small food potions a couple times a day works. I also bought an Apple Watch and make sure that I walk 10k steps per day. That’s my journey so far with type 2. Hope my journey continues on this positive track as I ontinue using your Ozempic.

I just took my first injection this morning. I felt like I didn’t get any of the medicine, but I’m feeling good just a little more tired. I’m hoping to lose about 35-40 pounds.

I’ve been taking the medication for a few months now and am down 30 lbs. I’ve always ate healthy but struggle with portion control. This helped reduce my appetite. I never felt any side effects, only reduced appetite. I was 398 lbs and am now 368. My goal is to lower my weight bellow 300 and hopefully see an improvement on my hypertension.

Nausea was so bad in beginning. Has totally changed my taste buds. I don’t want things I use to love. Biggest complaint is I am losing my natural curl!!!

I stated at lowest dose to 1ml. I’ve loss 13-15 pounds and today started with 2ml. I get nauseous but take phengren only. My A1C was stuck on 8.2 for the longest now it is 6.9! The greatest thing is it’s lowered my sugar & definitely curbed my appetite. With excersize (swim)I eat two yogurt 0 with fruit everyday and a protein at night with some veggies. I feel like i am reaching my goals love you guys

Easy way to lose weight but not without its downfalls. Dropped 15 lbs in around 3-4 months Appetite low, can’t drink much alcohol without nausea/vomiting and hard to enjoy when you do.

There was initial nausea and diarrhea the first dose. After that, all went well. Started end of February, by beginning of August, down 40lbs.

If you’re looking to lose weight, you will still have to follow an eating plan that’s balanced and deliberate. That being said, their Ozempic is making the diet plan manageable and for me, that’s a big plus. I am averaging about 1 pound loss per week. That’s just something I couldn’t seem to do using the diet plan alone. I am on week 9 and have just moved up to the 1mg dose. Side effects have been minimal.

I am on month 2 with Ozempic. Gas and Burping was/is common, especially with high caloric intake. Two other side effects that are alittle more problematic – trouble swallowing – if I drink more water, this subsides. Numbness in my left hand. I wasn’t sure if it was due to something else, but when I checked side effects, numbness is alittle less common but does happen.

I started out at .25 for four weeks then up to .50 every thing is going OK. But some thing I noticed was my back was not as sore. As it had been for 9 years. And cut my pain medication in half.. I don’t know why but I’ll take the relief. Some web sites say it can help with back pain. Hoping to get off all pain medication. Thanks for this incredible product.

So the good news is that it works. I’ve been taking at the lowest dose .25 for almost 8 weeks. I’ve lost 15lbs. and all interest in food or alcohol. Not caring or even thinking about food or your next meal and not worrying about how you will resist food is incredibly freeing. The bad news is the side effects. After a shot, I feel so tired.
